• Built-in Escrow: Funds are held securely until both buyer and seller complete the trade.
• Anonymous: No identity verification, no credit cards, no problem.
• Decentralized: We're working toward decentralized hosting and smart contract-based trade processing in future updates.

Our purpose is to provide the ability to list digital or physical products for sale, choose your preferred crypto to obtain, and receive your coin of choice from us—even if the buyer pays with a different coin. We charge a small seller's fee of 8% (6% for early-access users). Use a third party wallet (i.e. Coinbase) to load account balance or directly pay for orders. Together, we can create the world's first community of buyers and sellers that revolves around the crypto world.

How Do Badges Work?

Barter features a public badge system that rewards users for participation and achievements. As you complete milestones — like making your first trade, getting positive reviews, or referring friends — you'll unlock badges that show up on your public profile. Some badges offer real perks like reduced seller fees, early feature access, or enhanced visibility. Others are just for bragging rights. Once earned, badges stay with your profile permanently.

What Is the Referral System?

Our referral system is designed to reward users for growing the community. Each user gets a unique referral code. When new users sign up through your code, they’re added to your “team.” As your team members make purchases on Barter, their activity adds to your reward — this comes from a shared referral pool, not from their wallets. The more your team trades, the more your cashback grows. The referral pool recharges as you use your rewards. There are also different tiers, providing different levels of cashback directly based on your referrals.
